SWEATLOG BodyView

BodyView is unique for recording body or near-body climate. Individually available sensors can be placed almost anywhere between skin and textile to detect heat and humidity developments.

If the human body is the climate source, BodyView reflects the individual heating or cooling needs of the organism. Comfort and performance potentials can be derived from this. BodyView is also suitable for climate measurement within systems such as car seats or within a mattress architecture.

With its open design (without a mandatory sensor grid) and up to 8 freely available single or double sensors, BodyView offers an excellent way to climatically record various layers of clothing. From the skin over the base layer, mid layer to the exterior of jackets, uniforms, or protective suits, layered recordings are created that describe the path of heat and humidity through an entire clothing system. The longer a person can spend in a warm/dry environment, the longer they can utilize their performance or recovery potential. Climate is comfort, climate holds performance.

Shapes:

BodyView S: SWEATLOG unit with 4 to 8 standalone sensors; cables as required.

BodyView DS: SWEATLOG unit with 9 – 16 sensors per unit. As S, with optional double sensors per cable. Sensor spacing and cable length as required.

BodyView L: Up to 32 fixed installed sensors in a row. Sensor spacing as required, extensions as required.

Data output:

T (°C), RH (%), AH (g/kg), HI (°C) = felt heat, Time (hh:mm:ss)

Data analysis:

Txt file for MS Excel or comparable application.

We offer application-oriented analysis files based on MS Excel.

Data visualization

Optionally possible. However, visualization of climate data requires a fixed sensor grid. BodyView stands out due to its freely selectable placement of all sensors and usually prioritizes the aspect of visualization less.

  • Development of climate-active clothing, underwear and outdoor wear, sleeping bags, protective suits, shoes, gloves, fleeces, etc.
  • Applications within systems such as car seats, mattress cores, complex clothing systems, etc.
  • Variable placement in complex knits for recording representative microclimate data.
  • Measurements in all types of rooms (recording of microclimate in buildings)
