Human Comfort Testing
Qualitatively Reproducible Thermoregulation
Our Human Comfort Tests evaluate products in direct contact with the human body. Through targeted activation of thermoregulation, reproducible comparison scenarios are created in which functional differences become visible. The focus is not on statistical surveys, but on confirming thermoregulatory function—and thus on reliable statements about the actual qualitative effect of a product in human-product contact.
Areas of Application
Sports (first layer, mid layer, shell),
Fashion (suits, jackets),
Occupational safety (cleanroom, work, and protective clothing),
Leisure (T-shirts, sweaters, leggings),
Head protection (helmets, caps, hats) and other product categories.
Field Tests
Upon request, we conduct real-world application tests with SWEATLOG BodyView or HeadView—for example, during motorcycle or bicycle rides, in alpine environments, or in everyday usage situations. These field tests provide valuable insights into the actual microclimate in practical use. However, due to natural environmental conditions, they are only reproducible to a limited extent. We are happy to advise you on the meaningful integration of such tests into your development and evaluation processes.
Sleep Climate
With SleepView we measure the microclimate in real sleep environments—directly between the person, bed, and surroundings. Temperature and humidity profiles reveal how sleep systems actually perform. Particularly in cases of comfort issues, sensitive sleepers, or care environments, the analysis provides valuable insights for improving sleep climate, recovery, and product design.
